
We defined the brand strategy and designed the new corporate identity for Photon Bridge, a deep-tech company that manufactures integrated photonics, a field they have reinvented by proposing a radically different approach.
In a world where the demand for integrated photonics is rapidly growing, driven by AI and telecommunications, this breakthrough technology addresses a critical challenge. They deliver the most energy-efficient, scalable, and high-performance chips on the market, while also being the simplest to manufacture.
We worked closely with the company’s founders, CEO, and CCO, whose main goal was to prepare the product for market launch. After analyzing the context, competitors, and opportunities, we defined a strategic positioning and the way to clearly communicate it to their target audience.

During this process, the company underwent a name change: what was formerly known as Photon IP became Photon Bridge. Why “Bridge”? On a technical level, the chip’s mechanism has connectors that look like bridges, which is unique to their design. They also create bridges between different materials within their manufacturing process. And ultimately, they see their technology as a bridge to the future, enabling tomorrow’s breakthroughs.

To express the simplicity and efficiency of their products, we designed a minimalistic visual identity.
A photonic integrated circuit uses photons (particles of light) to transfer, sense, process, and transmit information. We introduced a line of light as the key visual element: a symbol of the circuits that move light and electricity, and a metaphorical bridge leading into the future. This is the path they invite clients to follow: a revolutionary path in integrated photonics.
